I, the LORD, am your RAPHA...
137 North Main Street
When Dr. Scott and Stacy Baker served on medical mission teams to Haiti and Papua New Guinea, neither imagined the revelation they would receive as a result of their experiences. While treating people in these poverty stricken, third-world countries, they began thinking about the needs of people in their own community of Winchester, KY.
As a result of this vision, on May 9, 2006, the former pool hall at 137 N Main Street opened its doors to serve the needs of the poor and medically under-served in Clark County. By first caring for the physical needs of people, Dr. Baker believes a natural opportunity opens up to address emotional and spiritual needs as well.
The mission of RAPHA Ministries is to honor and glorify God by providing quality medical care to uninsured individuals while ministering to their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
